Atiku vs Buhari: Supreme court strikes out PDP’s case

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court rejected an appeal presented by the People Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate for 2019, Atiku Abubakar.

A jury of five men, led by Judge Datijo Mohammed, rejected the appeal because the law was banned.

Latest Nigeria News understands that Atiku and PDP have filed a lawsuit against a court decision for the presidential election.

The presidential court ruled that Atiku and the PDP do not have a response to a request presented by the Congress of All Progressives (APC) on May 14, 2019 in search of, among others, the dismissal of their (Atiku and the PDP) challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in the last presidential election.
