Nigerian musician and actor, Banky W took a fan to school to read him the hard involvement of piracy in the work and creativity of an artist.
This after the post of an artist on the movie “Up North”, in which he plays the main character that is now available on Netflix.
After the release on the social media of the music star, a follower who is also an upcoming musician boasted in the comment section that he already had the movie on his phone while adding laughing emoji at the end of his answer.
The award-winning Banky W, who is now also a politician, responded by telling him to do what he would have done to others. He also told him to pray for him so that no one could pirate his song after he put the job. Banky W wrote:
“You laugh but I pray no one bootlegs the music you are trying to sell and use to make a living, the way you contributed to pirating our work. Do unto others as you’d have them do to you.”
