BREAKING: Another petrol tanker falls in Anambra

A long tanker carrying petrol to one of the petrol stations on Saturday fell into a gutter, caused tension in Akwa, in Anambra state.

Latest Nigeria News reports that the men of the state fire brigade arrived at the scene of the accident.

It was assumed that the tanker fell at around 7 am in front of St. Patrick’s Catholic church along Zik Awka Avenue.

The police and other security personnel had isolated the sand to prevent Onitsha’s hell from happening again.

He remembers that an oil tanker had fallen and caused a fire in the Upper Iweka Road and in the Ochanja market, Onitsha, which saw the loss of many lives and the destruction of property for millions of Naira.

While well-intentioned Nigerians expressed their sadness at the explosion of the Ochanja oil tanker, President Muhammadu Buhari sympathized with the families of the victims who lost their lives in hell.

In his words; “I am profoundly touched by the sight of the charred remains of an innocent mother and her child who are victims of this tragedy,”

Similarly, host of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in his reaction to the tanker explosion, took to his twitter handle where he noted that “we are on our own in this country.”
