President Muhammadu Buhari congratulated all the Nigerian pilgrims of 2019 for the successful completion of their Hajj rites and the celebrations of Eid-el-Kabeer.
Buhari is also seeking condolences with families, government, pilgrims and officials of Hajj for the death of some pilgrims this year.
President of the Hajj National Commission of Nigeria, Abdullahi Muhammad, represented the president on the occasion of the Monday in Muna.
The president asked pilgrims to intensify prayers for Nigeria to overcome all its socio-economic, political and security challenges.
In his welcome speech, the president of the Welfare Board of Muslim pilgrims from the state of Kano, Shaykh Abdullahi Pakistan; and the secretary, Muhammad Danbatta, expressed his satisfaction with the NAHCON exhibition at Hajj this year.
They particularly commended NAHCON for “meeting the yearnings and aspirations” of Kano State pilgrims in the areas of accommodation, transportation and other facilities to ease their hajj rites.
