Court to strike out FG’s case against Diezani Alison-Maudeke

On Tuesday, a federal high court in Abuja threatened to reject a money laundering complaint filed by the federal government against former oil minister Diezani Alison Maudeke.

The presiding judge of the court, Judge Ijeoma Ojkukwu, communicated the threat when, citing the case initiated by the Commission on economic and financial crimes, the anti-theft agency’s lawyer, the EFCC, Farouk Abdallah stated that the federal government was having challenges affecting the extraction of former ministers.
