FBI arrests 40-year-old Kenneth Ninalowo for $1.5m money laundering in Chicago

Kenneth Ganiu Ninalowo, 40, who is believed to be the brother of the Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo was arrested by the FBI on a money-laundering charge of over $ 1.5 million in Chicago.

The money, according to the FBI, comes from scams directed at an unidentified community college in the Chicago area and an energy company, who were disappointed by sending about $ 5 million to fraudulent bank accounts controlled by Ninalowo and the his partner, Brittney Stokes, 27 years old. .

The two were charged in a wider investigation, which included the arrest of over 280 people, of whom 167 in Nigeria, 18 in Turkey and 15 in Ghana. The justice department says arrests have also been made in France, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.

However, it is said that Kenneth Ninalowo is the brother of the famous Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo. He is the second child of eight children and is a native of Ikorodu Lagos, Nigeria.

Although LIB cannot independently verify their relationship, Bolanle Ninalowo’s online biography states that he spent many of his growing years in Chicago as Kenneth;

‘Bolanle was bred in Lagos before traveling to Chicago in the USA when he was only 15 years old. After getting to the US, he spent another 15 years studying and graduating from Devry University with a BSc in Accounting. He didn’t end his education there, he furthered at Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago where he got a Masters in Marketing’.
