The Abuja residence of the second vice president of the Nigerian football federation, Shehu Dikko, was sealed by the Commission for corrupt independent practices and by other Commissions for related infringements (ICPC).
Latest Nigeria News understands that the action was taken by the burglar alarm agency to investigate alleged bad financial practices in the football association, allegedly involving Dikko and other executives.
Speaking of the closure, Rasheedat Okoduwa, spokesperson for the ICPC revealed:
“It is true that ICPC sealed Shehu Dikko’s Maitama residence this morning,” she said.
“He is being investigated with others over fresh corruption charges. It has nothing to do with the cases of SPIP or EFCC.”
According to a report gathered from The Cable, the residence which was located No. 1 River Benue, Maitama might be one of the properties gotten from the alleged corruption.
