JAMB: Why Candidates Must Print Their 2019 UTME Result Two Times

As candidates begin to check their 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results,  Latestalert reports that there is a difference between (ordinary) Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result and original JAMB result.

Latestalert understands that candidates are checking their result via sending ‘result’ to the shortcode 55019.

However, it is noteworthy that the original UTME result is absolutely needed – especially when you have been offered provisional admission by your choice institution.

Normally, candidates print the JAMB (notification of result) for N200 at cafes, printing Original result is priced at N1,700.

This price is not fixed because the original result requires paying N1,000 to the examination body, JAMB (excluding online/Remita charges).

It is important that it is printed in colour which will understandably increase a cafe’s charge.
