Juventus: What Ronaldo said after receiving Serie A MVP award, lifting league trophy

Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo spoke after raising the Serie A title with Italian giants last night.

The match was the last home game for coach Massimiliano Allegri and the captain, Andrea Barzagli’s last game as a player.

Barzagli will retire at the end of the season after a series of injuries this season.

Before kick-off against Atalanta on Sunday, Barzagli was awarded, praised and applauded by Juventus fans.

Similarly, Ronaldo has been praised, but for a different reason.

He was named MVP of the Serie A season and received his prize before the start of the match against Atalanta.

Ronaldo wrote on Twitter: “I’m very happy to have won the second trophy for @juventusfc and my first Serie A championship!”
