kidnapped 3-year-old girl in Anambra has been rescued

A 3-year-old girl kidnapped by “unknown person” was rescued by the Anambra state police command.

On Tuesday, November 5, the girl was allegedly trafficked in Ukpor, rescued in Osumeyi, Nnewi, Local Government Area of south in Anambra state. Family members or relatives of the abducted girl were sent to the nearest police station to identify her.

A statement by command spokesman Haruna Muhammed says in part;

“A girl of about 3 years old was allegedly trafficked in Ukpor but rescued in Osumeyi, Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State on the 5/11/2019.

“Anyone with useful information about the child should report at the nearest Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command headquarters Awka through GSM no 08060970639, please.”
