Kogi IPAC walks out on INEC stakeholder

The inter-party advisory council (IPAC) of the state of Kogi accused the resident electoral commissioner of the INEC, Professor James Apam, in the state of working with Yahaya Bello in the state to improve the upcoming election of the governor on November 16, 2019.

Latest Nigeria News has learned that political parties have made the accusation after leaving the stakeholder meeting organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Kogi IPAC’s spokesman, Ibrahim Itodo, said he had lost faith in the REC and requested that he be expelled from the state.

He also said that they discovered that the REC has consistently compromised their position and duties and has acted contrary to the feelings of the majority of voters in the state.
