Mad Melon of Danfo Drivers dies

It was reported that Mad Melon, of “Danfo Driver” fame, died after a battle with an unknown disease.

The real name of Mad Melon, Omeofa Oghene, has achieved fame with fellow Mountain Black with the hit 2003 song “Danfo Driver”. They released three albums together.

Icon of the music icon, Daddy Showkey confirmed the news of Mad Melon’s death on his Instagram on Thursday 26 September 2019.

“What kind of sad news is this, what kind of sad news is this, what kind of sad news is this,” a visibly shaken Showkey says in the video.

“Oh my God, we just lost somebody, I just heard it just now. I’m not happy at all, I’m not happy. When dem go dey tell people make dem dey hear, make dem dey hear.”
