Michael Jackson’s first moonwalk socks up for sale from $1-2m

The first Michael Jackson Moonwalk socks will be on sale for a great deal.

According to Gottahaverockandroll, MJ’s personalized crystal socks, which he wore during his “Billie Jean” performance on the 1983 TV special, “Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever” will be sold for $1-2 million.

The socks are part of the Frank DiLeo collection. DiLeo is the late musical director who signed Micheal Jackson for Epic Records and directed it from 1984 to 1989 after the great success of “Thriller”.

The articles arrived along with a letter signed by Michael to Frank DiLeo. In the letter, the late King Pop claimed that the socks were a sign of gratitude for being vigilant during his famous Victory Tour.

According to TMZ, there is also a letter from DiLeo’s wife that certifies that Michael used stockings for his debut on the waterfront during the television special along with a certificate of authenticity.

The auction will be held from 13 to 22 November.
