Dino Melaye, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, in Kogi’s Western Senate district elections, said on Saturday that police arrested five criminals allegedly working for Governor Yahaya Bello’s assistant, Sunday Faleke.
According to Melaye, the criminals have released confessional statements to the police that Faleke sent today to stop the elections in his electoral unit.
In a tweet on his official Twitter page on Saturday afternoon, Melaye wrote: “5 of the criminals who came to interrupt the elections in my unit were arrested and made confessional statements about Yaleya Bello de Faleke’s assistant he sent Sunday.
“One of the cars used is also in police custody. Taofik isah was arrested and wrote a caution statement.”
