Sex For Grades: Another UNILAG Lecturer suspended

The scandal of sexual harassment that has shaken the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has claimed another professor, Dr. Samuel Oladipo, who was suspended on Tuesday by the university administration.

Dr. Oladipo, a professor in the Department of Economics, appeared in the second broadcast of the BBC Africa Eye video entitled “Sex for admission”, where he is shown to ask for sex from a clandestine in exchange for being admitted to school.

On Monday, the UNILAG management suspended Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu of the Department of
European languages ​​and integrated studies, Faculty of Letters, which was captured in the first part of the 30-minute video entitled “Sex for Grades”.

The UNLAG deputy chancellor, Professor Ouwatoyin Ogundipe, confirmed the suspension of dr. Oladipo from the university management and will have to face a panel.

The president of the University Academic Personnel Union (ASUU), a branch of UNILAG, Dr. Dele Ashiru described the sexual harassment scandal that brought two union members as unfortunate and tragic.
