Zamfara State Gov., Yari reacts to Supreme Court judgment

Governor of Zamfara state, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, described the Supreme Court ruling on the clash of Zamfara APC candidates as “Allah’s Will “.

In a statement released by his special adviser on illustration, Media and Public Communication, Mal Ibrahim Dosara, Yari said the party and its supporters in the state, “have done everything possible to ensure that APC has not lost the status of Zamfara, but As Allah wanted, the Party lost the state “.

According to him, his administration and loyal members of APC, in the state of Zamfara accepted the verdict of the Supreme Court on Friday 24 May 2019, which canceled the party primaries.

The Governor addressed a meeting of APC supporters in the Government Palace in Gusau said the members also made every effort to ensure the vitality and capacity of the party to continue clinging to the power to provide more dividends for democracy to the people of the state , but as Allah wanted it, the Supreme Court ruling was how it happened.

The statement added that “Yari, therefore, urged all members of the party as well as other citizens of the state to remain calm, peaceful and law-abiding.

“He directed security agencies in the State to be more vigilant to ensure adequate protection of lives and property of the people in the State.
